Job Description
Tasks:
Review of technical documentation delivered by supported Services/Projects
Support to the definition of end to end operational scenarios, functional specifications, operational concepts
Technical coordination of activities/Coordination of Industrial Teams
Support to ESA Service Manager in the technical analysis and monitoring of the implementations made by Industry
Scripting/programming knowledge to support the operational needs of the ESA Service Management Portal and Platform (EO User Services Portal) and EO Identity and Access Management System interface
Support maintenance and evolutions activities
Preparation of Transfer to Operation (TTO) plans and coordination of the TTO process for new systems, complex configurations, new services or existing systems
Attendance to technical meetings - Preparation of technical notes and presentations.
Skills and Experience:
Strong and demonstrated background in system engineering, with a focus on Identity Management related topics
Knowledge of Service Management systems and applications
Experience with programming and technical applications
Attitude to team working
Good communication and writing skills
Good organisational skills
Capability to work autonomously
Strong problem-solving and creativity-oriented attitude
Proficiency in written and spoken English.
The following skills are highly desirable:
Knowledge of ESA internal engineering processes
Knowledge of Earth Observation context
Knowledge of ESA applied standards (e.g. ECSS) and applications (e.g. ServiceNow/ TellUS).
Knowledge of service provisioning (e.g. ITIL) and project management methodologies (e.g. PMI-PMP).
Part-time position (50 to 100%, depending on workload and suitability).
Work Location:
Frascati, Italy
We follow a hybrid scheme with 2 days (or more if you wish to) in the office and the remaining days from home.
